Morse was elected in 2006, and re-elected in 2010, to represent Colorado Springs in the Colorado State Senate. Eventually he served as Senate President after serving as the Senate Majority Leader. Additionally, he served as a member of the Joint Budget Committee, the Health and Human Services Committee and the Finance Committee. Morse received his BSBA with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance from the University of Colorado.
